The Plywood Advantage
Particleboard tends to be the dominant choice for many who manufacture cabinets and grooming tops. It’s the economical option: cheaper, denser and uniform. However, particleboard is prone to expansion due to moisture, resulting in the delimitation of the laminated surface. This makes it less than ideal for wet areas such as cages and exam, wet or grooming tables. And particle board also generally lacks structural strength.
That’s why PetLift builds all of our cabinet and exam tops with higher quality plywood board. Opposed to particleboard created from wood chips or fiber, plywood is rather made of thin layers of hardwood that are extremely tolerant to moisture. Plywood will not soak up water and swell, making it less susceptible to water damage.
Each layer of wood is also laid with the grain running in a different direction, lending exceptional strength.
Durable Stainless Steel Surface: The 16-gauge, 304-grade stainless steel top offers a smooth, hygienic, and easy-to-clean surface, ensuring long-term durability and resistance to wear and tear.
Ample Storage: Equipped with spacious storage options, including full-extension drawers and a large cabinet with an adjustable shelf, this table provides ample space for storing veterinary tools, supplies, and equipment.
Ergonomic Design: Designed at a comfortable height of 36", the table promotes ergonomic work conditions, reducing strain during examinations and treatments.
Moisture-Resistant Cabinet: The cabinet features a durable, pressure-treated laminate exterior, making it resistant to moisture and wear, ensuring longevity in a busy veterinary clinic environment.
Raised Edges: The raised edges of the exam surface help contain liquids and prevent spills from affecting the workspace, keeping your environment clean and organized.
Q: What is the VetLine TSZ-9020H-SV Surgery Table used for?
A: This hydraulic surgery table is built for veterinary procedures, offering stable support and height adjustability for optimal positioning.
Q: What are the key of this surgery table?
A: Features include a durable stainless-steel tabletop, hydraulic foot pump for smooth height adjustment, and a tilting top for surgical precision.
Q: Is the table easy to clean and maintain?
A: Yes, the stainless-steel surface is corrosion-resistant and simple to sanitize between procedures.
Q: How is the height adjusted?
A: The table uses a foot-operated hydraulic pump, allowing hands-free, precise height changes.
Hydraulic Pump Exercise
Every 60 days, fully raise and lower the hydraulic pump 8–10 times. This practice ensures proper lubrication of the pump shaft and seals, especially if the table is frequently used within a limited height range.
Proper Handling During Relocation
Always ensure the hydraulic pump is in the locked position before lifting or moving the table. Moving the table without locking the pump can risk breaking seals and introducing air into the system.
Routine Cleaning
Stainless Steel Top: Clean regularly with a mild detergent and warm water. Avoid using abrasive pads, scrapers, steel wool, or wire brushes, as they can damage the surface.
Base and Frame: The base is double powder-coated to withstand cleaning and disinfecting solutions. Wipe down regularly to maintain its finish.
Tilt Mechanism Maintenance
Periodically check the tilt-top mechanism for smooth operation. If the mechanism becomes difficult to adjust, consult the manufacturer's instructions for troubleshooting.
Drain and Fluid Management
Ensure the drain outlet is free from debris to maintain efficient fluid drainage. Regularly empty and clean the collection pail to prevent buildup.
Surface Inspection
Periodically inspect the table's surface for any signs of damage or wear. Address any issues promptly to maintain the table's integrity and functionality.
