Yamaha's CFX Premium Grand Piano Voice in the P-225 recreates the power and tone of Yamaha's flagship CFX concert grand piano. Beautifully created with faithful tone and an excellent dynamic range, the CFX sample set is sure to inspire emotional, dynamic performances and compositions.

The proprietary VRM (Virtual Resonance Modeling) Lite technology faithfully reproduces sophisticated string resonance using physical modeling and makes the sound more like that of a real acoustic piano. Since instantaneous resonance is made at the moment according to the state of the keyboard or pedal, you can vary the sound expressively by changing the timing of your pressing the keys and the timing and depth of your pressing the pedal. This function affects only the Piano Voices.

Featuring the new Graded Hammer Compact (GHC) keyboard with matte black key tops, it's more compact than before but still gives you a realistic playing feel. 

GHC retains the same revered touch and feel of the Graded Hammer Standard (GHS) keyboard action but is engineered to occupy a smaller space. The graded, full-sized keys are essential for any pianist, but especially young beginners.
