Preserve Your Garden Produce, Create The Perfect Emergency Food Supply, Make Camping Meals And Healthy Snacks. Unlike Other Methods Of Food Preservation, Freeze Drying Does Not Shrink Or Toughen The Food, And Retains Flavor, Color, And Nutrition.

Features

Convenience of 4-tray dryer in a table top unit. Large capacity — capable of freeze drying as much as a gallon or two of material (6 to 10 lbs when wet).

Full-color, touch-screen display.

4-liter ice condensing capacity.

Operation allows for recipe customization (up to 10 Thermal Treatment and 12 Drying steps).

Control of the rate of freeze. This means that the rate of freeze can be speeded up or slowed down.

Control of the ultimate final freeze temperature.

Control of the amount of time a material is held at the ultimate freeze temperature before the drying cycle is started.

Control of the shelf temperature during the dry cycle. This includes setting as many as five different shelf temperatures, thus allowing the material to dry in phases, at different temperatures. For instance, you might have the material begin drying at 10ºF and increase the temperature in phases until the ultimate final dry temperature is 70ºF.

The shelf heaters can be set to automatically control the rate of sublimation during the primary drying cycle. Through this process, the unit has control of the attendant vacuum pressure.

The system records and maintains a log of the pressure and temperature during all parts of the freeze-dry cycle.

Provides ongoing, real-time display of pressure and temperature.

The unit can also connect to and communicate the freeze dryer cycle data to a nearby PC through an ethernet cable.

Maintenance Tips
  • Regular Cleaning: After each cycle, clean the interior and exterior with a soft, damp cloth to remove any dust, debris, or residue. Avoid abrasive cleaners to preserve the stainless steel finish.
  • Oil-Free Pump Maintenance: Since the unit features an oil-free pump, ensure it remains free of dust and debris. Check the pump regularly for smooth operation and listen for any unusual noises.
  • Inspect Door Gasket: Frequently inspect the door gasket for wear, cracks, or debris. Clean it with a damp cloth and ensure it forms a tight seal to maintain vacuum pressure. Replace if damaged.
  • Defrost After Use: Allow ice buildup to melt naturally or use the defrost function after each cycle. Wipe the chamber thoroughly to remove excess water, preventing mold, mildew, or corrosion.
  • Tray and Rack Cleaning: After each use, wash trays and racks with warm, soapy water. Dry them completely before reinserting them into the freeze dryer to avoid contamination.
  • Monitor Vacuum Performance: Regularly check the vacuum pressure. If you notice a drop in performance, inspect the seals, gaskets, and hoses for leaks or damage. Replace any worn components to maintain efficiency.
  • Cooling and Ventilation: Keep the cooling system and vents clear of dust and debris. Use compressed air or a soft brush to clean these areas and ensure optimal airflow and cooling efficiency.
  • Electrical Inspection: Examine electrical connections and wiring for signs of wear or damage. Ensure the unit is connected to a dedicated outlet with the proper voltage to avoid electrical issues.
  • Stainless Steel Care: Maintain the stainless steel appearance by wiping the exterior with a microfiber cloth and using a stainless steel cleaner to remove fingerprints, smudges, and stains.
  • Annual Professional Service: Schedule an annual inspection by a professional to check the pump, vacuum system, and other critical components. Regular servicing will extend the life and efficiency of the unit.
