Truma Cooler C73 Single Zone Portable Fridge/Freezer

Pack in all the food you need for your next family vacation with this mid-sized portable fridge freezer. The Truma Cooler C73 Single Zone Portable Fridge/Freezer offers incredible storage capacity in its 29x18x22 (LxWxH) frame. At 66Ibs, it’s tough enough to endure whatever expedition you’re on while still being light enough to bring on the trip. Then pack it away when you’re home. If that’s a little too much space for your needs, other small and mid-sized portable fridge freezers are available.

Features
  • Powerful and Planet Friendly

Like all Truma’s portable fridge freezers, the C73 is compatible with A.C. and D.C. power. It’s a super-efficient refrigeration system (A++ energy efficiency) that’s ideal for solar operation. The efficiency comes with no loss of power. The portable fridge freezer can maintain temperatures from -8F to 50F (-22C to 10C).

  • Hassle-Free Care and Clean Up

With a 73 liter capacity (19 gallons), the C73 also features a reversible lid (as do all Truma refrigeration systems over 60 liters). Plus, the drain plug on the base of the fridge freezer makes for an easy-breezy cleaning experience.

Maintenance Tips
  • Regular Cleaning: Clean both the interior and exterior with a mild soap solution and a soft cloth to avoid dirt buildup and odors. Do not use abrasive materials or harsh chemicals that could damage the cooler.
  • Inspect Door Seals: Check the door seals for wear or cracks regularly. Ensure they are properly sealed to maintain cooling efficiency and prevent cold air leakage.
  • Defrost the Freezer: If the cooler is being used as a freezer, defrost it regularly to prevent ice buildup, which can affect its performance. Always empty the cooler before defrosting.
  • Clean the Condenser Coils: Periodically remove dust and debris from the condenser coils using a vacuum or soft brush to ensure proper airflow and cooling efficiency.
  • Monitor Power Connections: Inspect the power cable and connections for damage or wear. Ensure the power supply is stable and appropriate for the cooler to prevent electrical issues.
  • Ensure Adequate Ventilation: Position the cooler in a well-ventilated area, ensuring there’s proper airflow around the unit. Avoid blocking the vents or cooling airflow paths.
  • Battery Maintenance (if applicable): If using a battery, check the charge level regularly. Avoid letting the battery fully discharge over extended periods to maintain its health.
  • Proper Storage: When not in use, store the cooler in a dry, cool place. Cover it to protect from dust, dirt, and physical damage, especially during long periods of storage.
