Tuttnauer 3870HSG-WS Pre and Post Vacuum Autoclave - TTN-3870HSG-WS-230-D

The Tuttnauer 3870HSG-WS Pre and Post Vacuum Autoclave is an 85 liter autoclave sterilizer that's designed for large clinics and ASC's. It produces hospital grade sterilization with a medium load capacity, and is most ideal for medical clinics, dental clinics, and operating rooms.

As the name suggests, the Tuttnauer 3870HSG-WS Pre and Post Vacuum Autoclave contains a built-in vacuum system designed for fractionated pre vacuum air removal and post vacuum drying. This removes air pockets from the chamber to ensure full steam sterilization on the entire load. The post vacuum process dries the load efficiently for a bone-dry finish.

The HSG-WS model specifically has been designed for water saving, through an efficient recycling system. In total, it will utilize only five liters of tap water per day. In terms of utility connection, it can be hooked up to existing utilities for distilled water, tap water, and electricity, or can be independent of utilities with only a power connection needed. With the independence feature, the water reservoirs must be manually filled prior to cycles.

Maintenance Tips
  • Daily Cleaning: Clean the interior chamber, door, and exterior of the autoclave after each use. Use a damp cloth and mild detergent to remove any residues. Avoid harsh chemicals that could damage the surfaces.
  • Check and Replace Gaskets: Inspect the door gasket regularly for signs of wear, damage, or cracks. Replace it immediately if necessary to ensure a proper seal during the vacuum and sterilization process.
  • Clean the Filters: Check and clean the air and water filters regularly to maintain proper air circulation and water quality. Replace filters as per the manufacturer's recommendations.
  • Drain Water Reservoir: After each cycle, drain the water reservoir and refill it with clean distilled or demineralized water. This helps prevent mineral buildup and ensures optimal sterilization performance.
  • Descaling: If you are using hard water, periodically descale the system to prevent mineral deposits from clogging the pipes and affecting the performance. Use a recommended descaling solution.
