Regular Cleaning:
Daily: After each use, turn off and unplug the unit. Remove the glass doors, hot dog trays, and bun tray. Clean these components with mild detergent and warm water. Wipe down the interior and exterior surfaces with a soft cloth.
Reservoir: Empty any remaining water from the reservoir and clean it thoroughly.
Water Level Maintenance:
Always maintain the water level in the reservoir above the minimum line to prevent damage to the unit. When the "Low Water Indicator" illuminates, add approximately 4 quarts of water to the reservoir.
Temperature Settings:
Set the thermostat to 80–100°F for cooking and 60–80°F for holding. A standard-size hot dog should reach serving temperature in approximately 20–30 minutes. Adjust the thermostat accordingly.
Condensation Management:
Cool air striking the warm steamer may cause moisture accumulation. Protecting the unit from cool drafts of air will help prevent condensation. Ensure the steamer is on a level surface to allow proper drainage of condensation.
Safety Precautions:
Always unplug the unit when not in use and before cleaning, adjusting, or maintaining the steamer. Do not operate with a damaged cord or plug. Use authorized service for examination, electrical or mechanical adjustment, or repair.
