The Yamaha BR12 passive PA speaker was designed to fit the budgets of performing musicians, DJs, houses of worship, schools, and small-to-medium-sized venues. It carries on a tradition of quality built, and affordable sound reinforcement products from Yamaha. It was developed for mobile and permanent applications and offers high performance and complete system flexibility.

Yamaha's BR12 speaker has the full frequency response and high output found in more costly systems. The High-frequency response has been enhanced with the addition of a new Titanium driver and 90° by 40° non-resonant horn, while integrated protection circuitry built into the passive crossover ensures a long life of high output and minimal distortion.

The Yamaha BR12 is constructed using advanced computer-controlled woodworking techniques. Features include carpeted exterior finish; heavy-gauge, full-face perforated steel grille; steel corner protectors; large metal handles; and steel input panels with dual 1/4-in. connectors. In addition, the BR12 contains built-in pole mounting sockets for added flexibility.
